Alzheimer's/Dementia Care
Vista Knoll Specialized Care is very proud to cater a unit within our facility specifically geared towards patients suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia. Our 30 bed Alzheimer's/Dementia unit is specifically set up to adhere to the needs of these patients who require special care.
Features of our dedicated Alzheimer's/Dementia unit include the following:
- Provide emotional psychosocial support for all our residents
- Perform safety rounds often to ensure the safety of all our residents
- Psychiatrist and Psychologist on staff available weekly
- Assess, diagnose and treat basic medical conditions on our residents
- Hands on activities to help stimulate our residents and keep them engaged
- Secured Unit for the safety of all our residents
- Social services available for all residents and families
